


Dr. Weaver is a board certified physician in two specialities, namely Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Dr. Weaver attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. After an internship at the Osteopathic Medical center in Philadelphia, he completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia. After several years practicing anesthesia, he was accepted into the Pain Medicine Fellowship at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. He stayed on as an Assistant Professor in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at the University Medical Center with responsibilities for teaching residents and fellows as well as treating patients. Personal distinctions include being the first physician to perform "LASE" in Arizona, a minimally invasive procedure to reduce herniated discs. Dr. Weaver was an instructor for this procedure, teaching other physicians this new technology. He was featured on PBS television "minimally invasive procedures of the lumbar spine". He was also a regular guest on KNST radio show "Healthwise", a weekly broadcast on health matters. As well, he was featured in "Something More", a local magazine on health issues. Dr. Weaver has recently moved back to the east coast so his children could be closer to their grandparents. He is practicing Pain Medicine in Hartford, Connecticut region.
